Clear condition standards

Grading Explained

Every refurbished device should have a clear Grade A, B or C condition label. The grade describes cosmetic condition; the product listing still controls the exact specification, included accessories and any device-specific notes.

A / B / CConsistent condition labels
A

Grade A

Excellent cosmetic condition

Fully functional and professionally prepared, with only very light signs of previous use visible on close inspection.

  • Screen in very clean condition
  • Minimal marks on the case or palm rest
  • Suitable for customers who prioritise appearance
B

Grade B

Good cosmetic condition

Fully functional, with normal visible signs of previous use such as light scratches, small marks or minor wear.

  • May show cosmetic wear from normal use
  • No grading claim changes the listed specification
  • A strong balance of value and appearance
C

Grade C

Heavier cosmetic wear

Fully functional unless the listing explicitly states otherwise, but may have more obvious scratches, scuffs, dents or visible wear.

  • Best value where appearance is less important
  • Cosmetic wear should not prevent normal use
  • Check product photos and listing notes carefully

Important

What grading does — and does not — mean

Grading is cosmetic. It does not replace the product specification, battery information, warranty terms or individual listing notes.

Photos matter. Where individual-device photos are used, review them before ordering because cosmetic wear varies between units.

Function comes first. Recore Tech devices are prepared for resale, but any specific exception or fault must be stated on the relevant product listing.
